The Civil Air Patrol is an organization of over 64,000 members nationwide volunteering their time in support of Homeland security, search and rescue, disaster relief and community service. Established on December 1, 1941, the Civil Air Patrol is the official Auxiliary of the United States Air Force.

The Civil Air Patrol has three main missions:
Aerospace Education - providing educational programs for our members and the general public ranging from model rocketry, the National Conference on Aviation and Space Education plus workshops in the local community.
Cadet Programs - providing a unique opportunity for young people ages 12 through 18 to acquire the skills they need in later life through leadership, activities and physical and moral training.
Emergency Services - providing assistance in time of emergency through search and rescue, communications support and disaster relief.
The Civil Air Patrol provides exciting and challenging opportunities for both young people and adults who have an interest in aviation and community service. The Civil Air Patrol offers the opportunity to develop leadership, integrity and self-discipline as well as personal development through technical training programs at the local and national level. The Civil Air Patrol develops tomorrow's leaders today through education, mentoring and service to others. Join us today!
